Tournament Schedule - May 22 - 28, 2023
The Maiden Stakes returns this Monday, May 22 UTC with an impressive prize pool of over $85,000 USD. Additionally, we have modified the weekly racing slate with the exciting addition of “Less than 250 lifetime races” conditionals. Once again, we have five weekly premiers with a total prize pool of $20,000 USD for paid racing. After evaluating player engagement and volume during the first week of our new lobby and tournament structure, we have implemented some key changes as outlined below:
- Daily XP tournaments paused next week:
- to evaluate participation across all events and fee tiers
- to eventually fill the daily tournament gap with Sit’n’Go tournaments
- to improve the leaderboard service
- Using this data to continue to structure Sit’n’Go availability
- Maiden Stakes running Monday to Tuesday UTC
- Breed 3.0 conditionals with less than 21-lifetime races
- Breed 3.0 Top 6 Events in Classes 1-6 changed to:
- 6 racehorse Top 2 with Less than 250 lifetime races
- 1v1’s temporarily removed
- 1v1’s will be reintroduced in the style of Sit’n’Go tournaments next month
- These events will have blind entry, a gamechanger which the lack of is preventing volume in 1v1’s currently
- Replaced with 12 racehorse Double Up with Less than 250 lifetime races
- Entry fees will not be changing each day
- An initial review of weekly data showed very little change in day-to-day racehorse participation
- Differences in stakes will be provided between less than 250 lifetime race conditionals and all other paid races
