Flash Tournaments
Starting Friday January 20 UTC*, we will be introducing a new concept: Flash Tournaments. We have recently made great strides within our underlying tournament infrastructure to create flexibility to deliver new styles of tournament events, and we want your help to test them out!
- Free Racing Events
- Structure of the tournament not announced until the day the tournament goes live
- Variety of new structures not limited to:
- Points allocated to each position
- Qualifying mechanics (race requirement, scoring systems)
- Final round mechanics (who advances, size of each round)
- Number of qualifiers
- Conditional Level brackets
- Payout structures
- Time period of qualifying
- Prize Pools of varying sizes
*Flash tournaments will not run this weekend as we will be running a soon-to-be-announced special paid event.
Flash Tournaments will each have their own associated addition to the guide page with details on how the tournament will work and any other information.
For next week, Flash Tournaments will run from Monday to Wednesday UTC, with Paid events resuming on Thursday, January 26 UTC.
The schedule for Paid tournaments will be announced early in the week.
Flash Tournaments will each have USD $8,000 prize pools with the following split per class:
